Taking Quantum Dot Performance to the Next Level

Harness our highly stable, ultra-bright fluorescent and dual-use magnetic & fluorescent nanoparticle reagents to expand your view of cell biology.

Optimized nanoparticles for reliable cell separation and characterization

Quantum dots’ unique optical properties hold the promise for enhanced detection and imaging in flow cytometry and fluorescence microscopy. However, it can be difficult to conjugate them with antibodies and target proteins, couple them with other particles, and maintain their fluorescent and colloidal stability.

At Core Quantum Technologies, we developed a proprietary polymer encapsulation technology that protects and preserves quantum dots’ fluorescent properties, improves their colloidal stability, allows for easy conjugation to antibodies and proteins of interest, and integration of magnetic particles, enabling their seamless inclusion in cell sorting and analysis workflows. In addition, our reagents have multiple quantum dots while maintaining nanometer size, making them ultra-bright with distinct, narrow spectral emission signatures that reduce spectral overlap, enabling sensitive detection and accurate characterization of cell biology.

“Core Quantum's expertise was instrumental in establishing our lab's workflow. Their custom MagDot conjugations for our detection and enrichment antibodies worked seamlessly with our spectral cytometer to analyze Th17 cells bound to Nanovials. Without the high-quality service and innovative MagDots, our Th17 enrichment protocol would not have been possible. Thanks to the dual fluorescent and magnetic properties of the MagDots, we quickly validated our findings and are now uncovering new biology for Th17 cells that we can identify and isolate by protein expression. Core Quantum's support has been invaluable in advancing our research.”
